Terms and Conditions
Participation and Liability
Visitors participate at their own risk. While our animals are generally friendly and enjoy attention, they are living creatures and may behave unpredictably at times. Highland Cows of the Peak cannot be held liable for any accidents or injuries resulting from unpredictable animal behavior.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
To cancel a confirmed booking, please email infor@livestocklounge.ltd at least 48 hours before the experience start time.
Bookings are non-refundable after 24 hours unless we cancel, in which case you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
Refunds after 24 hours from booking are possible only if we can resell your tickets (minus a 2% transaction and admin fee), or we offer an alternative date.
Refunds will be processed within ten working days and reimbursed in the original payment method or another agreed method.
No refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking, no-shows, or late arrivals.
Booking Information
All experiences are e-tickets and will show as “pending” until used.
If you haven’t received your confirmation email, please check your spam folder.

Public Access
We are a working farm. Visits are by pre-booked appointment only. No walk-ins or spectators are allowed without a booking.
Booking Timeline
Deluxe Livestock Lounge experiences can be booked up to 1 year in advance.
Peak Highland Cow Experience dates are available about 6 months in advance.
Mini Moo Meet & Greet and Meet the Coos Tour dates are updated 2-3 months ahead.
New dates are added at the end of each month. Additional availability due to cancellations is displayed on our website’s announcement bar.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers do not expire and retain their monetary value.
Experience prices may increase over time; additional fees will apply at booking.
To redeem, select your experience and date, then enter your 16-digit gift code at checkout (dashes not required).
Food and Refreshments
We do not offer afternoon tea with the cows, but our onsite Barn Cafe serves farm-fresh cooked meals. Guests booking an experience receive a 10% discount at the cafe. Advance booking for seating is recommended.
About Mini Moos
“Mini Moos” are weaned calves, not miniature Highland cows. We prioritize breed health by raising calves naturally with their mothers for 6–11 months. Newborn calves are not separated unless necessary for health reasons.
Facilities & Policies
Parking: Free on-site parking available.
Clothing: Wear wellies or waterproof outdoor footwear and dress for the weather.
Dogs: Pets are not permitted as they may disturb the animals.
Feeding: Do not bring outside food for animals; food is provided on-site to prevent disease risks.
Photography: Welcome! Feel free to take photos and tag us on social media.
Animal Interaction: Petting is allowed only when guided for safety reasons, especially with calves.

Meet the Coos Tour: All ages (children under 2 are free, seated on laps)
Mini Moo Meet & Greet: Ages 5+
Peak Highland Cow Experience: Ages 8+ (well-behaved children)
Deluxe Safari: Suitable for all ages (tailored)
Children must be supervised, well-behaved, and calm around animals to avoid disruptions.
Accessibility:
Mini Moo Meet & Greet is our most accessible experience with parking near animals.
Deluxe Safari and Meet the Coos Tour may accommodate some mobility aids depending on wheelchair size and standing ability.
Peak Highland Cow Experience is not recommended for wheelchair users due to uneven terrain.
Accessible parking, toilets, and café facilities are available onsite.
When to Visit
Experiences run year-round and are mostly weather-proof with covered areas and trailer roofs. They may only be cancelled in extreme weather. Each season offers unique highlights:
Winter: Thick coats on cows, dress warmly
Autumn: Beautiful scenery, variable weather
Spring/Summer: Calving season, drier weather, but more flies
