A Heritage Ranch in the Heart of East Texas
Hi there! We’re David & Karen Allen, a husband and wife team originally from a small town just outside of Anchorage, Alaska. In 2017, we made the bold move to Winnsboro, Texas, to live out our dream of building a diversified, sustainable ranch and we’ve never looked back.
At Livestock Lounge, we proudly raise:

Our ranch is located just east of Winnsboro, nestled among natural springs and rich pasturelands. A hundred-year-old oxbow from the River Sheaf winds through our property, creating a vibrant wildlife sanctuary that’s home to ducks, geese, pheasants, and deer.
The Highlands graze freely on green pastures under wide Texas skies, with rolling views and room to roam just the way nature intended.
